Blogmas #1

If I think of Christmas and everything that makes the run to it so special I can’t help but include vlogmas in my list ( More or less between mulled wine and hallmark movies); being able to follow your favourite content creators on their day-to-day basis is a treat that I can’t and I don’t want to miss on. It might be weird but it’s uplifting to be able to peek behind the curtain and find actual human beings with their empty days and not-so-exciting lives, let’s face it, we always look way cooler online. I always toyed with the idea of participating myself, I even tried a couple of times in my soon-after-failed previous blog attempts, but it was always a half-hearted trial and, obviously, I never managed to saw them through. Those initiatives, as well as those blogs/ youtube channels soon  died and for a good reason; commitment was the main problem followed closely by wanting to make something pretty, something mine but never actually knowing what “ mine” meant nor how much effort that needed. This year I feel positive that I will be able to pull it through, at the end of the day this blog is still going, isn’t it? It’ll take work, time I don’t have and I might miss a day or two, but I’ll try my best to bring you content daily.

What makes this time different from the others, you might ask: I think that I finally found my voice. Growing up I used to write constantly but in the past few years depression had taken the place of the person I was and now I’m finally able to gain ground to that dark monster that we will call Sandra and, as a famous Ted talk say, Sandra is a bitch. I, on the other hand, have learned to enjoy myself, to embrace my mistakes and learn from them. I’m not perfect, my posts don’t have to be either and every comment, every like, every reader on this posts is a milestone I was not expecting and getting through that milestone is what I strive to. That said I’ll try to bring you daily posts and, for a more vlogmassy feeling you can head to my stories on Instagram where, when my awkwardness allows I’ll try and document as much of my day as I can… Feel el free to contact me and let me know if you enjoy this two types of content as I’m super thirsty for feedback— I’m flying blind here, guys!

Happy Blogmas!

  1. Hi! I’ve been following your website for a long time now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Huffman Texas!
Just wanted to mention keep up the excellent work!
I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content
as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
